HOW IS WORKS

Hiring us to cook for you privately or to run your event couldn't  be easier. Simply give us a call on 07738 703450 and we'll run through everything with you and work with you every step of the way.

  • The first step is to agree a date and venue and number of guests.( If you are staying in a holiday venue we will more than likely have worked there before and will be familiar with the set up) 

  • Your menu choice will determine your cost. Included in the per head cost are all food, chef, FOH* prep and fixed costs. 

  • Mileage is charged at £0.45pence per mile.

  • We'll ask you for a 25% deposit to secure the date you've chosen.

  • We'll then discuss your menu - 90% of our menus are bespoke, we like to work with our customers to find the perfect menu for all guests, however, we do have some sample menus HERE if you're looking for ideas. 

  • We cater for all dietary & lifestyle requirements.

  • You should flag allergies and intolerances as soon as you book your event.

  • Once we have agreed on your menu, guests can choose one dish from each course. You don't all have to eat the same dishes. We would ask you to agree on 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. We can then pop this in a menu so that you can distribute it and gather menu choices. 

  • We'll then agree on what time you should eat. We'll be on site up to 1.5 hours prior to your event depending on the services required and the dishes being served. 

  • We require you and your guests menu choices 14 days before the date of the event.

  • The final balance is due no later than 14 working days prior to the event. 

  • A lot of your meal will have been prepared in advance on the day so as to cause minimum disruption to you. 

  • We are used to working in all sorts of different domestic kitchens so please don't worry, so long as you let us know have to switch the oven on we'll be fine ! 

  • All we ask is that the kitchen work surfaces are completely  free of clutter  and that you leave us two shelves in the fridge. 

  • Unless agreed  you will be responsible for  laying the table and decorate the venue for your celebration. 

  • Service will last between 2 and  a maximum of 2.5 hours depending on the menu you've chosen. If you require us to stay longer then the rate per person past 10pm is £20.00 per hour per person. 

  • We will leave you kitchen as we have found it. We will wash up crockery, pans and cutlery and put them back where we found them . Unless you have order drinks through us and glassware we will not be responsible for washing and polishing them.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

​

  • Drinks - We are able to supply alcohol at your event, our wine merchant Sovereign Wines is expert at pairing wine with dishes and designing wine flights. Ask us for a wine list. 

  • ​

  • Additional FOH - We would advise an additional FOH if numbers were over 18 guests to ensure the smooth running of your  event. This would be £15 per hour extra

  • Crockery and Cutlery is available from us via a third party, please think about this early, leaving it to the last minute may cause issues especially during the summer ( weddning season ) and Christmas.
