COOKING RETREATS
Welcome
We are absolutely thrilled to announce a series of cooking retreats in association with Stoodleigh Court Coach House, based in glorious rural North Devon.
Offering up to 10 residential places in a peaceful luxury setting together with very limited day passes, each exclusive retreat will focus on a shared passion for food and flavour and will be a mixture of hands on cooking as well as some practical demonstrations. There will only be 10 places available in total for each retreat so that our guests can get the most out of their time with us.
At the end of each retreat you’ll be equipped to take away your learning, cook each dish from scratch at home without needing an array of expensive kitchen equipment. Every dish is designed to be able to be cooked in a domestic kitchen. During your time with us you will enjoy Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner together with a canapé and fizz reception on arrival to welcome you and make you feel right at home.
By the time you leave us you’ll be conversant in all the dishes that have been cooked, armed with your recipe folder, notes, wonderful memories and new friends.
Everyone is welcome at any level, our retreats are not governed by experience, the emphasis is very much focussed on our shared passion for food.

Come with us on a 3 day journey around some of Vietnam's most Iconic street food and best loved dishes. We are delighted to welcome guest chef Thuy Hoang, quarter-finalist from BBC Masterchef to share her family recipe secrets and a little history of surrounding this delicious cuisine.

French Brasserie Classics
Come and immerse yourself in some of the worlds most iconic dishes. Forget the complicated Michelin style creations which put the fear of god into people and come and cook some honest flavour-packed French Brasserie Food. Reimagine dishes from your favourite French Holidays and produce them time after time for family and friends. We'll be cooking some delicious dishes from around France including Duck Confit and Cheese Souflée. This retreat is for real Francofiles with a passion for good food.
